John Bradford, Founder

John graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Engineering and obtained an Executive MBA from University of Memphis. He is the founder of two start-up companies: and Park Avenue Properties. He started his companies after working 14-years in corporate America for ExxonMobil and IBM Corporation. John served two consecutive terms in the North Carolina House of Representatives and was the Majority Deputy Whip and Chairman of Regulatory Reform and State & Local Government committees. Before serving as a North Carolina State Representative, John also served two consecutive terms as a Town of Cornelius Commissioner. He is married to his high school sweetheart and has 4 children. In his spare time, he loves to fish, camp and travel with his family.



Ben Gilman, CTO

Ben has 20-years’ experience in building software and running software projects as both a developer and a Chief Technology Officer. The breadth and depth of Ben’s technical skills combined with clear communication make him a distinguished leader for all things digital. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from Principia College and his MBA from Wake Forest University. Ben has founded several successful startups and is a Techstars alumnus.

David Stunja, COO

David enjoys the rolling-up-his-sleeves aspect of problem-solving from marketing to finance to operations. Prior to joining, David was a VP of Corporate Strategy at Bank of America Merchant Services where he analyzed and negotiated contracts with card networks and aided the payment firm's strategic planning process. He relocated to Charlotte from DC where he worked in the chemicals industry after graduating with his MBA from Maryland's Smith School of Business. David's passionate about using technology to turn innovative ideas into sellable products and connecting like-minded people. He's married to a fellow Penn Stater, and a father to a 1-year-old future soccer player and an adopted, hike-loving dog. In his free time, he's constantly DIYing, supporting Penn State football -- where he studied Industrial Engineering -- and cheering for Chelsea Football Club.

Brad Morris, Legal

Brad is an experienced attorney in the property management industry. He handles complex business litigation in state and federal courts involving a wide range of issues affecting corporate and individual clients, including breach of contract, partner and shareholder disputes, fiduciary duty claims, deceptive franchise practices, contract matters, intellectual property issues, construction disputes, secured creditor claims, employment contracts and business torts. Brad also has significant bankruptcy skills and has been involved in many litigation matters in bankruptcy cases, including preference actions, fraudulent transfers, priority disputes and disputes over ownership of assets in which the bankruptcy estate claims an interest.

Marge Kessler, Sales & Business Development

Marge handles sales and business development for After college, she began her career in sales with Nordstrom, and was a part of many technology start-up companies in the Seattle area. She launched into the property management sector at All Property Management / Buildium followed by ShowMojo and developed the reputation as a growth specialist in the industry. Her favorite part of her job? One on one interaction with customers and helping them grow their business. In her spare time, Marge enjoys a great game of golf, spending time with her family and friends and walking Sophie, her yellow lab.

Pat Patterson, Business Development - Multi Family

Pat comes to with tremendous success and over 20 years in multifamily and single family rental operations, leasing and marketing. She is recognized as an innovative leader and strategic visionary, who has a unique ability to identify and understand customer’s needs in order to achieve specific goals. Pat received her degree from Virginia Tech and has supported their Residential Property Management program since it's inception. She served four years on the Board of the National Apartment Association and was named National Vendor of the Year. Pat attributes her success to working with incredible companies such as Equity Residential, Riverstone/Blackstone, Insignia, HPC Apartment Guides and most recently "I couldn't be happier to work with such an innovative company like, which combines my two passions; Pets and People! My dog Mazie is very proud of me and is constantly 'woofing' if she can come to work with me...and she does!"

Mallory Hedinger - Marketing

Mallory is an experienced content marketing manager in the real estate and property management industries. As a creative marketing professional, Mallory stays current with new technologies and marketing trends and she is passionate about developing inbound marketing strategies and engaging content to build brand awareness. She is a Clemson University graduate and holds a degree in marketing. Mallory is a mom to an amazing kid and dog, enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.

Mary Page Decker - Account Management

Born and raised in eastern North Carolina, Mary Page has always had at least 1 dog in her household. After graduating with a business degree from East Carolina University, she went into Real Estate, specifically as a Leasing Agent. Having worked in this industry, Mary Page sees the value that PetScreening can bring not only to Property Managers, but to animal owners as well. Now residing in Scottsdale, AZ with her husband and fur baby, she is combining two of her passions, animals and real estate, and here to assist you with all things PetScreening!


Amanda Spence - Customer Relations

Amanda joins the pack after graduating with a double major in Communications and Political Science from UNC Charlotte. She brings her fiercely determined and driven spirit combined with her interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills to Petscreening’s growing team. In her spare time, she is a Charlotte coffee connoisseur, a seasoned world traveler, and an avid PGA Tour fan. She grew up with a Bloodhound named Roxy and a rescue mix named Rocky and plans to continue the tradition with a Labradoodle or French Bulldog of her own in the future. Amanda is excited to grow personally and professionally through a sales and marketing role with Petscreening.
